During the month of August, 12 individuals committed or re-committed their life to Christ through baptism, or profession of faith. The baptisms were held at a lake near Whitewater.
Each has a beautiful testimony of God’s leading in their life. Now comes the opportunity to get acquainted closer with these individuals, getting to know them a little better, Pastor Nate Skaife encouraged their congregation. The baptismal candidates studied the Bible with Pastor Skaife, as well as other members of the church.
Among those baptized were Roger and Cindy Skaife, parents of Nate Skaife. They came from Janesville, Wisconsin, to be baptized by their son. “It was amazing. This was something I prayed about for a long time,” said Pastor Skaife.
“It’s a joy to have each of those new believers as part of our faith community,” commented Pastor Skaife.
