On the road » This past weekend, my wife, Diane, and I had the joy of being at Glacier View Ranch for the Hispanic Camp Meeting. This is a wonderful event that seems to grow every year. There were inspirational worship times, seminars, and great youth programs for our Spanish-speaking members.
This weekend, Diane and I are on separate journeys. Kayla Baker, a recent graduate from Union College, is getting married at the Cedar Lake Church in Michigan. Kayla was a member of the Lansing Church in Michigan when I was the pastor there, and she also grew up at Camp Au Sable where her father, Scott Baker, was the camp manager while I was youth director. These are dear friends, and I am honored to be a part of this great event! Diane had planned to join me; however, she is currently down in San Antonio, Texas, helping her parents who were just in a car accident this week. She is helping them sort out the insurance details, and hoping to help her sister who just had surgery.
Let’s keep lifting one another up in prayer as we continue our service for Jesus.
