|RMC President welcomes first grandchild » Ed Barnett, our RMC president, became a first-time grandfather this week. On Wednesday, October 29, Blake Edward Barnett was born to Ed's son Ryan and daughter-in-law Kay. Blake was 21 inches long and weighed 9 pounds. Many around the office have noted that Ed's white hair now goes well with his new title of "grandpa." Congratulations to the Barnett family!
Denver South prepares for annual Feast of Lights celebration »
Begin your Christmas holidays by attending the annual Feast of Lights Christmas concert at Denver South SDA Church on Friday night, Dec. 5, at 7:00 p.m., and Sabbath afternoon, Dec. 6, at 4:00 p.m. Mile High Academy Choir, Denver South Church Choir, and the Cherry Creek Youth Symphony and friends will combine under the direction of Leandro Bizama in a program of familiar Christmas music, readings, and dramatic portrayals of the nativity. The concert ends in a candle lighting ceremony. All are welcome. No charge.
LaVida Mission needs donated goods » Each year, the Adventist Community Services (ACS) team plans a conference-wide trip with their truck to pick up donated supplies for LaVida Mission, our Navajo school in New Mexico.
