Journey to the Cross and Beyond: From Jerusalem to
Loveland » Dick Stenbakken is unstoppable. So it seems. This Easter weekend, hundreds of visitors are expected to go through the streets of Jerusalem in Loveland at Campion Adventist Academy. The school and local congregation, together with five area Adventist churches, built a makeshift first-century Jerusalem marketplace, making the Easter story more visible, more real today.
An inaugural Journey to the Cross an
d Beyond interactive event will have twenty-five booths set up as a Passover marketplace of those days, with shops and demonstrations. A mini-museum of first-century artifacts is also being set up and visitors will be able to view them at the end of the event. "This will be a more tangible celebration to all of us," Stenbakken says.
