RMC pastors thank Al Williams for his support » At the close of the August pastors' meetings at Glacier View Ranch in Ward, Colo., the pastors said, “Thank You!” to Al Williams for his constant support over the years as the ministerial director for the conference. The pastors concluded with a special prayer as Al begins a new chapter in ministry for the Lord. Al Williams will coordinate the Awaken Wyoming initiative in his retirement.

Hispanic Camp Meeting takes place at GVR » Members and pastors from churches throughout the Rocky Mountain Conference converged at Glacier View Ranch in Ward, Colo., from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1. The theme for the weekend gathering was “The Remnant and the Final Crisis,” with guest speakers Pastor Felix H. Cortez and Pastor Esteban Bohr. Pastor Efrain Maldonado spoke to the youth, and Pastor Ruben Balaguer spoke to the younger children. About 800 were in attendance for this Spirit-filled weekend.

Larry Ford to hold concert at the Campion Church » Larry Ford has sung on many stages, including on the Bill Gaither homecoming programs. Michael Hopkins accepts call to Florida » Michael Hopkins, who has been serving as manager of Mills Spring Ranch in Wyoming, accepted a call to work at Camp Kulaqua in the Florida Conference. Michael and his wife, Alicia, and their children, Levi and Everly, will be missed greatly. Michael has been a tremendous blessing at Mills Spring Ranch and to the ministry that has taken place there.

Union College has a higher-than-expected enrollment for the 2013 fall semester » I just received some great news today from John Wagner, president of Union College. The school budgeted for an 800-student enrollment. As of today, they have 832 students enrolled, with more expected to arrive. Praise the Lord! Let’s keep Union College in our prayers.
Lakewood Fellowship holds Revelation seminar » We received a great report from lay leader Chuck Gadway. On Aug. 16, Lakewood Fellowship in Colorado offered a Revelation seminar for the community. There have been as many as 45 visitors attending, and approximately 27 are attending on a regular basis. Let’s keep the presenters in our prayers as they continue to lift up Jesus in these meetings.
On the road » This week, Diane and I are with the Mid-America Union officers in Victoria, B.C., for a retreat. Our time has been spent in worship, prayer and planning for the future. I will say we have a very Spirit-filled group of leaders in the Mid-America Union. After spending the Sabbath here, Diane and I will head back to Colorado, where we have a full week of activities planned.
I want to invite you to pray for the Boulder Church and Franktown District, as both are in the process of searching for a new pastor. More than anything, each of us just wants the Lord to have His way.
