NAD Theology of Ordination Study Approved at Year-end Meetings » On Nov. 4, the North American Division Executive Committee voted by an 85 percent margin to approve the report on the biblical study of ordination that was prepared by the North American Division Theology of Ordination Study Committee.
The report concludes that it is not unbiblical for both men and women to receive ordination as an affirmation of the call of God. The report further suggests that each world division should prayerfully consider their own appropriate approach to the ordination of women to gospel ministry in accordance to their territory's particular cultural and societal needs.
