Rocky Mountain Conference takes its ninth mission trip to Belize » Under the leadership of Joe Martin, student literature evangelism coordinator, the Rocky Mountain Conference’s ninth sponsored mission trip to Belize took place during spring break. Building a library, conducting a vacation Bible school, distributing 3,000 Step to Christ books, conducting worship services with students, and sharing 500 pounds of shoes in a needy neighborhood were just some of the activities that filled the team’s time on this wonderful journey. On the road » Diane and I are headed to Casper, Wyoming, where a full weekend is planned. Friday night, the Awaken training program begins, which will continue through Sabbath afternoon. This program is under the direction of Al Williams, RMC Ministerial director.
Sabbath afternoon, at the Casper Church, there also will be seminars offered in the areas of family life, training for local church elders, personal ministries, and how to walk closer with the Savior. In the evening, we will have our annualTown Hall meeting for the Wyoming territory, where we can share how the Lord is blessing His church.
It is hard to believe it is already almost April! Whether you will part in an evangelistic effort that is beginning soon or are a teacher or student beginning the home stretch of this school year, I pray you will have a joyful spring!
This is Passover weekend. I pray each of us will find a renewed awe and love for our Savior as we contemplate anew the gift of Calvary’s cross and His resurrection. Let’s never forget Paul’s words to us about this weekend’s events:
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. —I Corinthians 15: 3, 4 NASB.
