WinterFest begins this evening » Don't miss out on the pinnacle youth event of the season! The festivities kick off this evening! Join us at the Silverthorne Pavilion in Silverthorne, Colo., at 7 p.m. Programming continues all day tomorrow.
Hurry! Registration is required but free. We are nearing capacity for this exciting time of music, preaching, and fellowship. There are fewer than 50 seats remaining as of this morning, and once we reach capacity, the seats are gone! Ticket holders will have first priority for both seating and food. Reduced-rate ski tickets for Copper Mountain Ski Resort will be available for purchase at the event on Saturday evening.
Get details and register at rmcwinterfest.com.
RMC newsletter mailing issue » Did you receive a copy of the RMC Mountain Views newsletter in your mailbox? The premier issue mailed about a week ago, but a technical glitch shuffled the names and addresses on the mailing list. All of the newsletters were sent to addresses of our members, but the names and addresses weren't correctly matched. If you didn't receive a copy, you can request one by email.
Enjoy your copy, even if it has the wrong name on it! We will get the kinks ironed out before the next edition.
Lakewood Fellowship presents "Foods for Thought" series » The Lakewood Fellowship health team will be presenting a balanced living series entitled "Foods for Thought" beginning Thursday, April 3rd, at 6:30 p.m.
This is a great sharing opportunity for friends and neighbors who are interested in health and lifestyle. Meetings will be held at the JMI Building, 2nd Floor. 8550 W. 14th Ave., in Lakewood, Colo.
There will be free food tastings at each meeting. A $40 charge covers the workbook and other materials, but the presenters don't want cost to be a factor that keeps anyone from coming!
Contact Rhonda or Chuck Gadway at 720.514.9524 for more info. RSVP by March 25th at LakewoodHealthInfo.com.
Café Chocolat Women's Retreat » Does simply thinking about chocolate bring a smile to your face? Try thinking about this—hanging out at a café with friends while enjoying your favorite hot beverage, nibbling on a brownie or bit of chocolate pie, laughing, talking, and relaxing together—it’s a perfect gathering!
Café Chocolat is a relaxing chocolate-themed retreat planned for women. It includes worship, Bible study, and time for laughter as well as time for quiet reflection. And while the name of the gathering sounds indulgent, we’ll actually be using chocolate as a metaphor for God’s extravagant grace.
We’ll begin with breakfast on the morning of Sunday, March 30th, and will finish by 5:00 in the afternoon. Our retreat will be held at JMI building, 8550 W. 14th Ave – 2nd Floor, Lakewood, Colo., and the cost is only $40 per person! This covers 2 delicious meals, fun and refreshing activities, and snacks/supplies.
Call Ruth at 303-524-9634 or Teresa at 720-375-0555 for more information. If you have food sensitivities, you can still come! We've made provision for that!
Take time to relax, make new friends, worship, and draw closer to God. We hope you’ll join us at Café Chocolat.
