Is was a pleasure to see Marcella Dittenber, of Torrington, Wyo., again this year at camp meeting. She is 93 years old and still driving her truck and camper up Casper Mountain for camp meeting. She has been attending Wyoming Camp Meeting since it first started in 1964!
The youth department has been active with Pastor Gabriel Gutierrez, of the SW Wyoming District, and Pastor Tom and Lena Toews, who teach at Union College, leading out. They have been worshipping, playing and serving together. Today, they will meet new friends in Casper as they distribute literature for an outreach activity.
Ken Denslow, the assistant to Dan Jackson, the North American Division president, has been preaching the nightly meetings. His talks have blessed those attending.

Next week will be another full week as we head up to the Black Hills to be a part of the Mid-America Union Pathfinder Camporee. Next weekend will be NE Camp Meeting at Campion Academy with Roscoe Howard as the guest speaker. I hope you will plan to attend. I know you will receive a blessing and enjoy the fellowship of new and old friends who will be there.
On Tuesday of the coming week, we will have our final RMC Executive Committee meeting before the RMC Constituency Session on Sept. 16. I just want to personally thank each person on the committee for his or her service to the Conference during the past three years. I can tell you every board member took their responsibility very seriously, and they entered every issue armed with prayer. All of the members care deeply about our Conference and its mission, and we owe them our gratitude for the time they gave to serve us.
As always, there will be changes to the committee as the Constituency Session unfolds, and I just didn’t want to miss the opportunity to publicly recognize these board members for their thoughtful, committed and caring service.
