Student literature evangelism program is funded for 2013 » On Monday, Joe Martin, student literature evangelism program coordinator, shared an exciting announcement at our office staff meeting. Because of faithful donors, the student L.E. program received the funds necessary to carry out this wonderful ministry in 2013. Praise God!
It has been inspiring to see the outpouring of support for this frontline ministry, which our young people carry out. This ministry is now in its 23rd year. I want to come alongside Joe to ask for continued financial and prayer support for this ministry, so it can continue to flourish for years to come.
Wyoming Waldensian Youth Challenge is in full swing » The AWAKEN Wyoming evangelistic initiative, which began last summer at Wyoming Camp Meeting, includes an emphasis to involve our young people in the mission of our Church. Pastor Gary Force, of the NE Wyoming district, is the group leader. He and other Wyoming pastors began the Wyoming Waldensian Youth Challenge yesterday with the 26-plus young people who arrived at Mills Spring Ranch on Casper Mountain. The event will continue through Sunday noon. Let’s remember our young people and leaders in prayer as they take this journey together!
RMC Teen Prayer Summit is taking place » This is the weekend for the RMC Youth Department-sponsored Teen Prayer Summit at Glacier View Ranch in Ward, Colo. Pastor Steve Hamilton, RMC’s new youth director, is the guest speaker. This will be Pastor Steve’s first event with our young people. Let’s pray that the Holy Spirit will be present to touch each heart!
The Hell and Mr. Fudge screenings are offered next week » The Denver screenings for the major motion picture, Hell and Mr. Fudge, produced by a group of Adventist filmmakers, will take place this next week. Tickets are available still for this event.

On the road » My wife Diane and I will go to Glacier View Ranch this evening to support Pastor Steve Hamilton and our young people who are attending the Teen Prayer Summit.
Tomorrow, we have the privilege of worshiping with the International Church in Denver.
In the afternoon, we will attend the memorial service for James Blankenship, father of Teresa Blankenship who is one of our teachers at Vista Ridge Academy. James Blankenship was an adjunct professor of nutrition in the School of Public Health at Loma Linda University prior to his death. Please keep Teresa and her family in your prayers during this tender time.
