Mountain Church held at GVR » On August 9, more than 100 people gathered from the Twin Peaks and Vista churches for Mountain Church at Glacier View Ranch. They were also blessed to be joined by Farmington (N. Mex.) Pathfinders en route to Oshkosh. The group enjoyed worship at the campfire bowl, potluck in the meadow, and an afternoon hike to Devil’s Bathtub. The baby dedication of Pastor Blake and Cristiane Jones' daughter, Sofia, conducted by Pastor Eric Nelson, made the occasion especially memorable. The two churches look forward to meeting again next year for more fun and fellowship at Mountain Church!
CREATION Health Seminar comes to Longmont » A faith-based health seminar called CREATION Health is coming to Longmont. The eight-week event will take place every Wednesday, September 3 through October 22, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 2210 Pratt Street, in Longmont.
The program is designed to educate and motivate people to adopt a healthy lifestyle by making simple changes. With increased instances of major health problems, CREATION Health offers simple changes to obtain better health.

Elm Haven Fellowship Celebrates Baptism » On Sabbath, July 5, Elm Haven Fellowship welcomed two young people into membership. Brothers Isaiah and Isaac Cherry studied all winter with their parents, Tom and Brenda Cherry, and Pastor John Martin. The boys asked to be baptized in a lake on the 4th of July weekend to memorialize their true freedom in Christ. Arrangements were made and the church gathered at 4:30 p.m. at Centennial Lake in Milliken, Colo. for the baptism. Following the baptism, the entire group drove fifteen miles to the home of Pastor John and Billie Martin for a supper, presentation of the baptismal certificates, and sundown worship.
