Conference-wide Career Day

“This was the best Career Day ever,” stated Campion Academy Junior, Patrick Torres.

Sunday, February 25, 2007 marked the first conference wide Career Day at CampionAcademy. Students from the Denver area along with Campion students enjoyed guest speakers share their journey with Christ in non-traditional employment experiences. Feature speakers included: Chris Christmas, Fashion Designer who has worked with Shaquille O’Neill and Beyounce. Dallas Stokes of Black Sheep designs; Peter Paul Scott, Marketing Director for Tommy Hilfiger for 13 years and AND 1 Basketball legend Malloy Naismith A.K.A.Future.
Format of the day included rotations of a feature speaker, visiting booths and talking one one with each speaker. At the close of the day, a scrimmage basketball game was played between the students and our guest speakers. Future from AND 1 provided much entertainment during the game by bouncing basketballs of students heads and other stunts.
