The Bible Bowl was on January 27, 2007. It was held at the Denver 1st Seventh-day Adventist Church. There were 7 clubs that were in attendance. Some of the clubs had 2 teams, like the Denver 1st Mountaineers and the Brighton Silver Wings.
We had a little worship before we started. Each club had a Conference Staff member assigned to each Bible Bowl team to act as a “monitor”. That person helped the clubs with any questions that they might have. In all, we answered a little over 100 questions.
These were the place winners:
The third place winners were: The Golden Eagles, the Denver South Trailblazers, the Denver 1st Mountaineers team 2, and the Arvada Golden Eagles.
The second place winner was the Pecos club.
The first place winners were: the Brighton Silver Wings team 1 & 2, the Denver 1st team 1, and the Park Hill club. The Brighton Silver Wings Team 1 was the highest scoring team. They received a trophy to represent this great position.
After the Bible Bowl, we were invited to have a spaghetti dinner by the Denver 1st Mountaineers club.
